All Of Shenseea’s Stunning Looks In The ‘Run Run’ Music Video: Photos
Dancehall star Shenseea has released her first song in seven months titled Run Run — a 90s Dancehall-inspired single billed as the first cut off her upcoming debut studio album. Her Shenyengs not only got a treat for the ears but also the eyes when she served several stunning looks in the three-minute video directed by Christian Breslauer, and produced by a talented team of creatives (listed below).
Currently at over 1.3 million views on YouTube and trending in several countries since its release yesterday, the visuals feature the Blessed singer reclaiming her heart and exacting revenge on her man, who is played by Trinidad-born actor Darrius Marcellin.
Let’s dig into the five show-stopping pieces worn by Shenseea, provided by wardrobe stylists Anne-Marie Hoang and Kim Quyen, and costume designer Aquiles, who has worked with elites like Janet Jackson, Nicki Minaj, and Snoh Aalegra
Shenseea’s first arresting ensemble took us back to the 2015 film Max Max: Fury Road. She donned a flowy purple trailing dress with headcover paired with an ornate shiny gold body armor. The look came complete with a lasso-length ponytail courtesy of lead hairstylist Fitch Lunar
Mad Max Matriarch
Taking things up a notch, Shen gets even fiercer and looks like a matriarch, cloaked in gold tasseled chains and fishnets with embellished spikey shoulder armor, neck shield, and knee-high strappy boots – reminiscent of fashion trends in the post-apocalyptic
In the scenes that follow, Shenseea is quite enchanting, swirling around in a lagoon surrounded by lush forest while dripping in diamonds. Looking like a tempting carnival vixen, she dons a sleek diamond-encrusted headdress with tresses down to her back. Her fingers are swathed in bejeweled claws, by Nail artist @nail_swag, to match her crystal festooned monokini
Shenseea turns up the heat in portraits from the pits of hell. The red hair, devil horns, draping chains, black leather leotard paired with spiked neck choker, and gauntlet wristbands all make up this dominatrix look in the music video.
Exuding semblances of the Greek mythological priestess Medusa, Shenseea rocked elongated branched braids courtesy of Kontemporary Knatural Kouture, instead of living venomous snakes for her hair.
However, with a little help from animal wrangler Claudius Shropshire, Shenseea’s finale look was still attended by an albino python…plus a few. Her dress was another bejeweled ensemble of green and turquoise crystals draped over a barely-there high split dress.
